My fascination with mythological creatures, rooted in India's rich heritage, drives me to explore their significance across cultures. In Hindu mythology, creatures like the Yali hold deep religious and protective symbolism, particularly in South Indian sculptures. These sculptures, found in museums, reveal the Yali's diverse forms. However, some are marred by vandalism, a theme I connected to post-vandalism art. This art movement delves into the link between destruction and transformation, echoing past movements like readymade, nouveau réalisme, and graffiti.
